Responsible for:

• Mentoring junior members of the team, both local and remote on IT knowledge and best practices.
• Escalation point for technical/security/policy issues
• Documenting infrastructure
• Developing process and procedure for all IT and infrastructure initiatives
• Developed infrastructure solutions for web-based applications.
• Providing security and compliance recommendations for ongoing business.
• Develop and implement best practices for cloud and on-premise IT resources including
  • Active Directory (File and print services, user catalog)
  • Azure Active Directory Connect
  • AWS products and services (ELB, EBS, SES, EC2, etc)

Additional Projects

• Developing security compliance procedures and documentation in support of client requirements reflecting PCI/HIPPA.
• Introduced AWS Elastic Beanstalk into environment to increase system reliability and reduce cost of fault tolerance by 33%.
• Developed plan and implemented Google Suite to Office 365 migration. End user training, developing best practices and communicating with upper management about the status of the migration.
• Developed and implemented plan to revamp existing on-premise Active Directory configuration to align with Microsoft best practices and introduce fault tolerance.
